Since the year 2000 I have been a freelance professional singer songwriter, musician, composer, producer and creative workshop leader. I have composed music for theatre and performances and toured internationally.
I have recorded and released four critically acclaimed CD albums as a solo artist and have toured my music both nationally and internationally.
I am highly creative, outgoing and self-motivated, with excellent PR and relational skills. I am adaptable to many different community contexts and am equally happy working alone as a self-starter or as part of a team. I have held positions of management and leadership and enjoy challenges.
I have extensive experience in creating, organising, managing and facilitating arts events and workshops both within the third sector and commercial environments.
I am passionate about social justice, human rights and environmental issues and am one of the founding facilitators of One Day Without Us a UK wide national campaign that stands up for the rights and celebrates the contributions of migrants here in the UK.
Alongside this I have had extensive experience of schools, youth and children’s work, as well as being a marketing manager for an arts company and an administrational assistant in a charity context.
