Hushland Creative - Schools is the culmination of over twenty years of dynamic interactive partnering within the education sector.

How it all began...

In 1995 In Melbourne Australia we created Collective 21 a touring arts company that focussed on delivering Story Telling, Visual Arts and Music based workshops to all key stages.

​

After relocating back in the UK the company evolved into a registered community arts charity called People Around Here, based in Cardiff Wales. Operating since 2005 PAH soon expanded into wider areas of creative engagement including hospices, schools, communities and the youth justice system. Over the years we developed a wide range of disciplines and took on other artists as we gained repeated funding from organisations such as:

Now we are based in Llanelli Carmartnenshire and operating as Hushland Creative.

Building on the last 23 years of school focussed workshops and embracing the "five creative habits of mind" alongside our pedagogical approach to education Hushland Creative are committed to providing innovative creative interactive workshops that enable, educate and inspire.
